this week i’ve been down with a really bad cold or a mild flu.
Let me tell you this much: It sucks.
I was able to find coverage for teaching but not for my normal dancing gig. There’s nothing like irish dancing on a little table with really loud music when you feel horrible and, because your ears are so clogged, you can’t even really hear it. … and if people are clapping, forget about it.
U2 comes to Vegas on Oct 23 and the band is going. So we switched our normal day off from today to this coming friday. So i have to work tonight when i’d really just like to curl up and eat ice cream while watching Dexter all night. But it’s U2 so sickness doesn’t matter. I’m putting in the time to get the reward. I just hope my ailments go away. soon. it’s been 9 days already..
